  • Thanks so much for visiting our website. Hopefully you’ll find all the information you need to answer any questions you have about who we are at Crofts End. Established back in 1895 as 'The Miners Mission' by and for the local colliery workers our church has a long history of serving the people of our community. Although times have changed, the purpose of the church is to share the hope of the Good News of Jesus Christ in relevant ways remains the same.

We gather for Sunday morning worship each week at 10:30am.

Our services are available post Sunday on our YouTube channel. So if you would like to check us out there is an option to join us digitally.

We look forward to meeting you, but if you've got any further questions please get in touch.

  • Sunday Service
    10.30am – 12.00pm

Please note for the school holidays that The Grid and Superbook will not be running.

    Main Worship

We start with a time of sung worship, led by our live band. This often leads into a time of open prayer and may include the gifts of the Spirit. Twice a month we share communion and will sometimes hear stories of what God is doing in people's lives today. There will also be time to hear a thought provoking message from the Bible. We also have a purpose built crèche for under 2’s where parents can take little ones and are able to still see and hear the service.

    ...

    Trailblazers

Children attending Trailblzer start in the chapel next door to learn about Jesus, life and love.

    ...

    The Grid

Young people attending The Grid join the adults for the first part of Main Worship before making their way downstairs, to hang out in the chapel. Here they’ll have their own discussion based learning.

    ...

    Sunflowers

Sunflowers is for the church ministry for the 0 - 5s, building the foundations of knowing Jesus through play, singing and bible teaching. It runs from 10:30 - 12:00.
