  • Thanks so much for visiting our website. Hopefully you’ll find all the information you need to answer any questions you have about who we are at Crofts End. Established back in 1895 as 'The Miners Mission' by and for the local colliery workers our church has a long history of serving the people of our community. Although times have changed, the purpose of the church is to share the hope of the Good News of Jesus Christ in relevant ways remains the same.

We gather for Sunday morning worship each week at 10:30am.

We look forward to meeting you, but if you've got any further questions please get in touch.

  • Sunday Service
    10.30am – 12.00pm

    Main Worship

We start with a time of sung worship, led by our live band. This often leads into a time of open prayer and may include the gifts of the Spirit. Twice a month we share communion and will sometimes hear stories of what God is doing in people's lives today. There will also be time to hear a thought provoking message from the Bible. We also have a purpose built crèche for under 2’s where parents can take little ones and are able to still see and hear the service.

    ...

    Kids & Youth

All of our children and youth begin by joining the first part of our main church service for worship until around 11am.

The first Sunday each month we have a combined games day with snooker table, foozball, board games, crafts and more. This gives the opportunity for all ages to mix, get to know each other and build friendships.

    Crofts Juniors

After worship, children attending Crofts Juniors go into the chapel next door to learn about Jesus, life and love.

    ...

    Crofts Youth

After worship our Crofts Youth make their way next door to hang out in their own room in the chapel. Here they’ll have their own discussion based learning.

    ...

    Creche

We have to creche's just off the main auditorium. Our carer and baby room for birth to 18 months and our playroom for up to 5 year olds. Both rooms are equipped with toys and books as well as audio and visual of the live service so you don't need to miss out on worship or teaching.

    Fellowship Time

    12.00 - 13.00

Stay for coffee and a chat after the service where there is time to get to know people or catch up with church family.
